It's hard to believe we're already entering the 2nd week of the new year. I don't know about you, but like every year I'm excited to see whats in store for my life, especially when it comes to dating.
So far this year I've gone on one date. My first date of the year was interesting. What made it so interesting was the man I went out with. He was a real gentleman. He opened doors for me, he allowed me to walk in front of him, he helped me with my coat, and paid for our dinner without hesitation. It was a big relief to go out on a date with a gentleman.
It feels like it's been so long since I dated someone like this. Most of my dates in 2016 consisted of men paying for the date, but expecting more later. Some men are ridiculous. Anyways I hope this date is just a hint of what the rest of the year will look like. At the end of it all I'm hoping to find love. I'm dating with a purpose and not for fun and games.
Have you gone on a date this year? If so how was your date? Id love to hear from you.
Until next time folks be safe.

I'm still working on making this blog work. Please hang in there with me as I figure a few things out. I do want to share with you a podcast I recently made. It's about communicating your intentions when dating a person. Remember communication is always important. I can't stress that enough. Take a listen to the audio below and let me know what you think.

Back In The Day
Dating and relationships aren't how they use to be. When I say "use to be" I'm talking about the cute, romantic dating stories your parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles would talk about. For instance, I remember how my aunt and uncle told me how they met and dated. Of course I heard two different versions of that story, but it seems as though their dating experience went smoothly.
Now days here in the 20th century it's a bunch of nonsense. This blog is about my dating and relationship experiences from the past, present and what I want for the future. You could consider me old fashion or say I'm living in a fairy tale, but the majority of my experiences haven't been like the stories from the older generation. I hope this blog makes you laugh and smile. Some of the stories and thoughts I share with you, you may be able to relate to. Maybe it will empower you so you don't have to put up with the nonsense of dating now days. Over all, it depends on you, what you want, and your own style. Visit this interesting site.
I hope you enjoy reading this blog. Comments are welcomed. I would like to hear your stories as well, so we all can have a positive dialog with one another.
